“Tsunami Relief – Rebuild Sri Lanka” is a non-profit foundation started by State College, Pa. resident John Corr for the express purpose of providing financial aid to assist the people of Sri Lanka to rebuild their communities. Mr. Corr worked as an independent volunteer building temporary shelters in southwest Sri Lanka in April of 2005 and came home with a list of projects to help the good people that he met and worked with in the Hikkaduwa/Galle area. All funds raised have gone directly to those people in need. Listed on this website are the descriptions of these projects and the success to date for accomplishing these goals. Also listed is a ledger of monies raised and spent. Fundraising efforts will continue until all listed goals are reached.
Our non-profit account is with PNC Bank. Our Federal Tax ID / EIN is on file and available upon request.
